Plymouth, UK. March 12th 2019 – Bibium has unveiled a new Q&A service aimed at helping the general public navigate the notoriously complicated world of commercial coffee machines.
#AskBibium is a completely free, online Q&A service that can be found on Twitter and LinkedIn. Users can ask absolutely anything coffee machine-related, from how to secure financing to advice on which is the right coffee machine for them, or even more technical questions such as how to fix common problems, which cleaning tablets go with which machines, etc.
After 6 years in the industry, the team behind the UK’s first review site for coffee machines noticed that little help was available past the point of making a purchase. Often, customers buy their machines from distributors who are effectively middlemen, and once the deal’s been done, tracking down an account manager dedicated enough to help out a past client can be a headache for the poor office manager or cafe owner left with a faulty machine. The alternative is to try and reach the manufacturer directly, but this is often a UK sales office for a European supplier brand, and unsurprisingly the focus is pre rather than post sales, particularly when a machine is out of warranty.
The Bibium team were receiving dozens of calls a week from end users who previously had no dealings with Bibium, but who were at the end of their tether trying to find help with coffee machine problems. So, the idea for an independent, completely customer-focused online Q&A tool that goes above loyalties to manufacturers and clients was born.
“Bibium is aiming to disrupt the commercial coffee industry once again as we continually look for new ways to improve customer experience in this marketplace” said Wyatt Cavalier, CEO and co-founder of Bibium. “#AskBibium is going to be the answer to a lot of people’s prayers – a free, independent service that helps users make better decisions or get advice when and if things go wrong. We have a lot of shared expertise in the team and with over 6,000 user reviews of coffee machines collected so far we have a big database of knowledge to draw from. We also have good relationships with all the main suppliers, so the sad truth is that finding a technical answer to a machine question might be easier for us than for a customer.”
