Suddenly, he is hospitalized for some medical emergency and his party is on the verge of splitting into two. He dies after being hospitalized and party leaders are having spirited debates on who should be the next CM. In between all this, Dr Gayatri (Trisha) smells foul play behind CMs death and collects all the evidence. However, she is kidnapped by someone for some reason.

Teddy is a piece of art in the true sense by director Shakti Soundar Rajan, who is known to take up unusual plots like this one. The story is about a girl, Srividya, who is kidnapped by a medical mafia known for being involved in organ trafficking. When he induces Srividya into a coma, her soul enters the body of a teddy bear. Shiva (Arya) has a photographic memory and is befriended by the teddy bear to help the soul unite with the body.
Karnan
Starring Dhanush in the titular role, this movie addresses a social problem of minorities being oppressed in the name of caste. It is set in the backdrop of the late 90s and somehow reminds you of the 1995 Kodiyankulam violence. This movie portrays the hardships, struggle and unfairness that small communities go through for survival. Dhanush has done an excellent job as Karnan and justifies his presence very well.
